September 21 – Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost
10:30 AM, Worship with Holy Communion in Sanctuary and Livestream
1 Timothy 2:1-7 | Luke 16:1-13
Today’s lessons explore what faithful living looks like in a complex world. In 1 Timothy, Paul calls us to pray for everyone, including even the most difficult leaders, seeking peace and flourishing for all. Jesus’ parable of the shrewd manager challenges us to be as creative and urgent about our spiritual priorities as we are about earthly concerns. Both passages ask: Where do our ultimate loyalties lie, and how do we navigate the tension between faithful living and worldly wisdom?
The Season of Stewardship continues, and we recognize the International Day of Peace. The Senior Choir will sing.
ERUCC also holds a healing worship service with Holy Communion at 8:30 AM.
