We invite everyone to join us in worship and community, but we also understand that sometimes it can be daunting to visit a new church. So we would like to help you feel a bit more prepared by answering common questions we hear:

What Should I Wear?

Some of our members wear jeans and some wear suits and skirts. Some dress business casual.  We want you to be able to focus on worship, not your clothes. So dress in a way that makes you comfortable.

Where Do I Park?

Free street parking is available on Church Street and surrounding streets on Sundays. The Church Street garage is located one block from ERUCC at 17 E. Church St., on the left after the intersection of North Market and Church streets. Garage parking is free until 2 p.m. on Sundays.

We have four reserved parking spaces for people with disabilities on Church Street directly in front of the church buildings every Sunday morning. We also have two disabled spaces in the rear of the building (access this by the driveway just to the left of the main building). An elevator can take you to the main sanctuary. Trinity Chapel, our historic and first church building, is right across the street and offers disabled access a side entrance on the left side of the building.

What is Your Service Like?

At ERUCC, you will hear readings from the Hebrew scriptures and the New Testament. We recite the Lord’s Prayer. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month at which time everyone is welcome . Our Senior Choir provides powerful renditions of traditional hymns, while our  Spirit ensemble performs more contemporary music on the second Sunday of each month.

But don’t take our word for it. Click here to watch last Sunday’s 10:30 service for yourself.

We hope that when you are finished, you’ll want to experience our community in person.

Do You Have Children’s Services?

We love children! Your kids are welcome to attend any service with you.  We also offer youth Sunday school classes and a staffed nursery.  More information can be found under Sunday Activities for the Kids.
