Campaign to Pay Off Medical Debt is Now Live!
Medical debt shouldn’t be a life sentence for getting sick. In Frederick County, thousands of our neighbors are trapped under the crushing weight of healthcare bills they cannot afford to pay. This fall, our diverse faith communities are coming together as one. In partnership with Undue Medical Debt, we are launching Un-Burdened: Frederick County United in Relief. Our collective mission is to raise $103,172.00 by October 31 to completely wipe out $15 Million in accumulated medical debt, liberating more than 14,000 of our neighbors right here in Frederick County. Participating in Un-Burdened, Frederick County United in Relief: Grace United Church of Christ, Frederick; All Saints Episcopal Church, Frederick; Calvary United Methodist Church, Frederick; Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ, Frederick; Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick; St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Frederick.
