School Supply ProjectFrederick County Public Schools – School Supply Drive

ERUCC has provided leadership with the Religious Coalition and other partners in organizing the Frederick School Supply Distribution Project.  Backpacks and school supplies are collected and distributed to children and families with limited resources.   Many volunteers are needed to help with coordinating this project, as well as school supplies and donations used to buy supplies not donated.   Here is the 2016 Report. Next year’s date for the project is  August 14, 2017.  Contact: Barbara Kershner Daniel, bkdaniel@erucc.org

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® asks men to literally walk one mile in women’s high-heeled shoes as a way to raise funds for Heartly House.   This is an opportunity for men to rally the community to take action to prevent sexualized violence.    ERUCC’s Pumped-Up Elders raised $3435 in 2015.   Here is a link to the Heartly House website.
