Tiny Tots

The children’s ministry includes monthly gatherings for PreK and younger children with their families. These gatherings include age level service projects, playground visits, fruit picking, and crafts to engage children creatively in multi-modal ways while allowing caregivers time to connect with other families.

KidVentures

This program for elementary-age children plans monthly activities that include opportunities for fellowship, service/giving, and faith formation.

God’s Kids Club

Faith-related programming is offered on some public school closure days. These days support families in meeting child care needs for Pre-K to 5th grade, and also provide opportunities for youth to volunteer and assist.

Kids’ Creation Care Club

With a focus on caring for God’s creation, elementary-age children are invited to participate in 3-4 times a year in a creek or playground clean-up or educational activity.

Youth Group

Middle and high school age youth are invited to participate in discussions, activities, and study around peace and justice, earth care and sustainability, and diversity and inclusivity. The group meets 1-2 times monthly and also participates in fundraisers, dinners, retreats, service projects, and mission trips

Safe-Church Policy

Our children and youth faith-based education is coordinated in partnership with our Christian Education Team and our Associate Pastor for Faith Formation and Parish Life, Rev. Kirstin Shrom-Rhoads. All volunteers have a background check done every three years and have been connected with our church for at least six months. We have a Safe Church Policy for working with Children and Youth that has different levels of training, depending on the level of care and custody for children.
